Transfer and Readmitted Students
Congratulations on your
admission to Elon University! We hope you are excited
about enrolling here and are looking forward to a great
semester. To give us a better idea of you academic
plans and to help you prepare for course registration, please
complete the following steps:

Step
1

Complete and submit
the
"Preregistration Information
form."
|

Step
2
|
Elon's Academic
Advising Center will send you a "checklist" of
recommended courses (based on your transfer credits and
intended major) for your first semester. Once you
receive the "checklist," you can prepare for
registration by accessing course offerings using OnTrack.
From the main page of OnTrack, under "Quick
Links" use the "search for sections"
function to view fall 2007 course offerings.

Step
3
|
After completing steps
1 and 2, you can call to register for courses between
mid-May and mid-July. Call the Academic
Advising Center, 336-278-6500. The Advising Center
is open 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Reminders
|
- Your
enrollment deposit must be paid before you can
register. This fee is applied
toward your tuition.
- You must have
all official transcripts of you college
work (including spring, 2007 semester work) sent to
Elon's Admissions Office, Campus Box 2700.
Failure to do so could interfere with appropriate
course selection.

Foreign
Language Placement Exam
|
You have the option of
taking the foreign language placement exam online OR
waiting to take it on campus. Some students may
need to take it online in order to make appropriate
course selections. Instructions for taking the
foreign language placement exam will be sent to transfer
students. Contact the Academic Advising
Center if you need further instruction.
