What you will learn

The course is designed to re-introduce essential project management processes followed by hands-on application of skills using both a course case study and a project simulation tool.  Participants will take a realistic project from inception (initiation) through completion (closure). 

Teams will develop key project artifacts and deliverables including: 

Project Charter	Stakeholder Importance Matrix
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)	Activity Breakdown Structure (ABS)
Project Timeline	Project Budget
Resource Plan	Communications Plan
Risk Management Plan	Status Report(s)
Change Management Plan	Final Project Report

Recommended Prerequisites

Essentials of Project Management or experience in project management and sound grounding in basic PMI principles and terminology.
