Elon ExecEd offers project management courses that may be taken individually in preparation for PMI certification or as part of a certificate program. The following options are available:
This certificate program is designed for individuals who have been assigned as new project managers or project team members. The program leading to a certificate in Project Management is appropriate for anyone who wishes to have a broad overview of the project management discipline. Required courses: PM-100, PM-201, PM-202, PM-205
Cost: $900 per person
This certificate program is designed for leaders of project management teams. The program leading to a certificate in Project Management Leadership is appropriate for project leaders in organizations that consistently or exclusively use project management tools and methods to achieve strategic organizational objectives. Required courses: PM-100, PM-201, PM-202, PM-203, PM-204, PM-205, PM-206, PM-207, PM-208 and PM-300.
Cost: $2,625 per person
Individuals may take as many courses as needed to prepare for project management certification. The Project Management Institute requires 35 credit hours of course instruction in order to sit for the PMP® certification exam (23 required hours for the CAPM® exam).
