College Writing Faculty Development Workshop Schedule

The 2011-12 Faculty Development Workshops are scheduled for:

• August 23, 8:15-10:00, ALAM 201: Planning Week Workshop
• September 14, 12:15-1:15, Lindner 206: Teaching and Composing in Electronic Environments
• October 12, 12:15-1:15, Lindner 206: Teaching for Information Literacy
• November 9, 12:15-1:15, Lindner 206: Program and Course Assessment
• February 8, 12:15-1:15, TBD: Addressing Diversity in College Writing
• March 14, 12:15-1:15, TBD: Program and Course Assessment; Transitioning to Moodle
• April 11, 12:15-1:15, AVTL/Belk Pavilion 200: Showcase of Student and Faculty Learning
   

Workshops are open to all English Department faculty, and faculty teaching ENG 100 or ENG 110 during the academic year are strongly encouraged to attend to share teaching strategies, to exchange ideas for assignments and activities, and to learn about developments in the program's placement and assessment.
