Comm Students Have Work Published

Several students from associate professor Frances Ward-Johnson’s Strategic Writing and Presentation classes had their work published recently in a variety of outlets. Rachel Dailey’s feature story on the local Habitat for Humanity chapter was published in Alamance Magazine. Angela Griffey and Jacqueline Seidel wrote and designed full-page print public service announcements for their clients—Alamance Cares and Ralph Scott Life Services. Those ads appeared in the Burlington Times-News.

Also, Kimberly Marker, wrote a feature press release for her client, Homeplace of Burlington. The result was a front-page story highlighted last week as part of the Times-Newsseries on World War II Veterans.
