Quotes Book on High-Definition Technology Impacting
Families
Connie Book, associate dean of the School of Communications,
was interviewed by the Denver Post for an article
on the way high-definition technology is changing the way
families interact.
"'I suspect we will see families sharing content
with their neighbors and their friends (and) making HD a part
of the social fabric,' says Book ... who specializes in
broadcast and new media. Book participated in a 1998 study
when Panasonic first rolled out HDTV. She says families with
HD will become 'change agents' who not only promote
the products but also teach peers how to use
them."
