Eke Quoted in Washington Post Article
Ocek Eke, assistant professor of communications, was quoted in a Sept. 16 Washington Post story about demonstrations that took place in Washington D.C. The story was titled "Dueling Demonstrations: As Thousands March to Capitol to Protest Iraq Conflict, 189 Arrested; War Supporters Take on 'Vocal Minority.'"
Eke joined thousands of people calling for an end to the Iraq war. During the event, he began a conversation with a man from Philadelphia who was on the other side of the issue.
"We don't have to yell and scream at each other. Ultimately, we want the best for our country," Eke told the newspaper. "If we call each other names, we'll never have a dialogue."
