Brooke Barnett, associate professor of communications, was a guest on the Dec. 31 broadcast of WUNC Radio's "The State of Things." Hosts Frank Stasio and Susan Davis asked a panel to discuss their hopes and concerns for 2008. Barnett was joined on the panel by author Haven Kimmel; Lee Baker, professor of cultural anthropology and African and African-American studies at Duke; Justin Catanoso, executive editor of the Triad Business Journal; and Rich Superfine, professor of physics and computer technology at UNC-Chapel Hill.
