Atlanta Experiential Media Tour

Each fall, first-year Journalism and Communications Fellows visit Atlanta for a three-day experiential media tour. Students generally visit media outlets including CNN, The Weather Channel, Atlanta Magazine,Weber Shandwick Worldwide and Turner Productions. Elon’s relationships with these media outlets allow students to go behind-the-scenes to meet top media professionals and discuss topics such as finding jobs and internships and the changing communications landscape.

In October 2014, 27 Communications Fellows met with alumni and viewed the operations of several media organizations, including CNN, Edelman Public Relations, WSB-TV and radio, and the Atlanta Braves.
