Atlanta Experiential Media Tour

Each fall, first-year Communications Fellows visit Atlanta for a three-day experiential media tour. Students generally visit media outlets including CNN, The Weather Channel, Atlanta Magazine,Weber Shandwick Worldwide and Turner Productions. Elon’s relationships with these media outlets allow students to go behind the scenes to meet top media professionals and discuss topics such as finding jobs and internships and the changing communications landscape.

In fall 2016, 24 Communications Fellows met with alumni and viewed the operations of several media organizations, including CNN, Atlanta Magazine, MSLGROUP Public Relations and WPBA-TV, one of two PBS-member stations in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
