"Music in the Village" Concert

Children tutored in the "It Takes A Village" Project participated along with their parents in a campus concert on April 28, 2013, to celebrate their achievements. Elementary school students from Alamance County sang in Whitley Auditorium alongside parents and Elon University student musicians. Spring 2013 was the first time music was introduced into the initiative. Children spent one evening a week since February working with Assistant Professor Gerald Knight on music comprehension and one evening reading with their tutors.
