GUIDELINES FOR EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENT IN BIOLOGY

The Biology Department’s experiential requirement can be satisfied in one of three ways: conducting a research project (BIO 499) under the guidance of a full-time faculty member in the Biology Department or fulfilling the requirements of an internship (BIO 481) under the supervision of a full-time faculty member in the Biology Department. The university graduation requirements include a second experiential requirement that can take a variety of additional forms including: leadership positions, study abroad, or service learning.
