Lincoln
PreMedical Society
The
Lincoln PreMedical Society was organized to help students
who wish to attend medical school and other health
profession schools, such as dental school and veterinary
school. The society also includes students who have
interests in physical therapy and physician assistant
programs.
We meet regularly to discuss such topics as the medical
school application process, how to write a personal
statement, how to interview successfully and how to
establish internships with a health professions mentor.
We also invite a number of health care professionals to
speak to our group, and we have rotating spring field
trips to Wake Forest University School of Medicine, the
Duke University School of Medicine, and the University of
North Carolina School of Medicine.
Currently, the meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of each month at 4:15 pm.
If you are interested in the Lincoln PreMedical Society
or if you would like more information, please contact Dr.
Robert Vick at 336-278-6205 or e-mail vickrs@elon.edu.
