The Elon College Fellows program has offered me many outlets through which I can explore my intellectual curiosity. ECF has taught me to think “outside the box” and to challenge my world and routines by questioning everything. As a Musical Theatre major, I have been able to apply the many things I have learned through ECF to enhance my skills as a performing artist. I cannot say enough about the importance of scholarly exploration for artists. Artists must comment on the world around them; we must be informed in order to express and tell stories. The Elon College Fellows program has truly enriched my world, allowing me to become a well-rounded artist. The program also provides a wonderful network, both academically and professionally. The relationships with both professors and colleagues that I have built at Elon through ECF have made a great impact on my education and will continue to assist me in my further endeavors.
Career Goals: Upon graduating from Elon with a BFA in Musical Theatre, I plan on moving to New York City where I will work toward my ultimate goal of performing on Broadway.
