Carroll "Chip" Johnson
Carroll "Chip" Johnson is an adjunct assistant
professor in the Performing Arts Department teaching
classes in Acting, Theatrical Makeup, and Theater History
and Literature. He earned his BA in Theatre at Rollins
College in Winter Park, Florida, and his MFA in
Acting/Directing from the University of North
Carolina-Greensboro. Chip also studied in NYC with Eric
Morris (author of Being and Doing and No Acting, Please)
and was a member of The Actor's Information Project.
A versatile character actor, Chip continues to work on
stage in roles ranging from Bobby in American
Buffalo to Uncle Peck in How I Learned to
Drive. Chip recently directed our hilarious
production of Dearly Departed.
