Kirby Wahl, Assistant Professor of Performing Arts, holds an MFA from The University of Arizona and a BFA from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, and is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework. He has performed with New York City's Riverside Shakespeare Company, The Arizona Theatre Company, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, and many other companies.  Favorite roles have included Che in Evita, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha and the title role in Shakespeare's Richard III. In the fall of 2008, he will perform the role of Dr. Hasim Madjani in The Prisoner's Dilemma at the Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh, and will serve as the production's dialect coach.
