My current academic interests include statistics, research methods, and the psychology of organizations and the workplace. My current research interests include leadership development, organizational citizenship behavior and employee turnover. I received my B.A. in psychology from the University of Notre Dame, my M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University. In addition, I spent over fifteen years in the consulting and corporate arenas, where I worked with various Fortune 500 companies including Ford Motor Company, The Home Depot, Pharmacia, Daimler Chrysler, LensCrafters, Guardian Life Insurance Company, and American Greetings. My primary consulting expertise is in leadership development, executive coaching, and succession planning although I also engage in a wide array of other organizational development activities.

I am also currently Elon's Faculty Leadership Fellow, as well as Coordinator for the Leadership Studies Minor. In these roles I work closely with faculty and Elon's Center for Leadership to ensure that students have optimal leadership development experiences both in academic courses and other co-curricular experiences. If you have any questions at all about the Leadership Studies Minor, or about leadership at all, please feel free to contact me directly.
