 REL 101. Introduction to Religious Studies

This course guides students to a deeper appreciation of the role that religion plays in human behavior, social conflict, and community interaction. Instruction focuses on developing a vocabulary for understanding religious ideas and belief systems.

Throughout the semester students will be challenged to take a critical look at the world in which they live and how belief systems shape how people understand, live in, and respond to the world around them.
