| REL 102. World Religions Who am I? Why am I here on this Earth? Where did I come from and where am I going? These are the deepest questions of humankind, questions every religion attempts to answer. This course investigates the nature of religion as one of the most important aspects of human experience and explores the teachings and practices of the major living religions of humanity. Through lectures, discussions, films, and readings, students explore the mythology, teachings, and history of these religions. A comparative study of the wisdom of the world's religions offers a deeper understanding of the various responses humans have made to the age-old questions of meaning.
