Teresa Walker wins Award for Excellence  

Teresa Walker, MBA class of 2003 and Internship Coordinator for the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was a recipient of the Dean's Award for Excellence in Service. The award, presented at the annual LSB Awards luncheon on April 12, recognized Teresa?s initiative in "going after" internship opportunities for undergraduates in the LSB.

Teresa rejoined Elon University as Internship Coordinator in June 2006. Internships have become an increasingly important component of students' academic and professional preparation. In her short time to date in that position, Teresa has helped students prepare for their internship search and has been especially effective in recruiting companies to hire LSB students for internships.
