Bernadette Spong Named One of Raleigh’s Ten “2007 Women Extraordinaire”

Bernadette Spong, MBA ’07, has been named one of Raleigh’s 10 “2007 Women Extraordinaire” by Business Leader Magazine. The awards are presented annually to a select group of women who have made outstanding contributions to their professions, companies and the community. The magazine received more than 250 nominations for the 10 awards.

A gala awards luncheon celebration to recognize this year’s honorees will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at North Ridge Country Club in North Raleigh.
Bernadette received her MBA in May 2007. She is CFO at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, where she lives with her husband, Rick. They have two children, Taylor and Halley, who are both students at Elon.
