Honors Program - Service

While Honors Fellows are encouraged to participate in service opportunities in the larger Elon community or communities outside the walls of Elon, there is no requirement to do so. There is, however, a requirement that each Fellow perform at least two instances of service to the Elon Honors community.  Of course more than two is much appreciated!

Examples of approved service include helping with Fellows Weekend by visiting with prospective Fellows at the reception or by guiding them around campus, being a marshal at Commencement, working as an usher at the Phi Eta Sigma induction and being a teaching assistant for an Honors section of Elon 101. Opportunities are announced in emails from the Honors Program.
