Study Abroad

Every Honors student is eligible for a one-time $1000 intercultural grant for study abroad with an Elon-approved Study Abroad program. These include Elon's Semester, Winter Term, and Summer Term programs, plus Elon-affiliated semester programs. Check with the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies for a list of accepted programs.

Students must apply for a Study Abroad Program through and be accepted by the Cannon Centre. It is recommended that you meet with a Cannon Centre Study Abroad advisor as well as your academic advisor to determine how your courses abroad will fit your overall academic plan.

When you apply for a study abroad program, be sure and note that you are an Honors student on your application. If you want to use your grant, you'll need to come by the Honors office to get your Fellows Study Abroad Grant Application signed.
