Applicants interested in enrolling in
the Elon University School of Law should plan according to
the following general timeline:

August 2007 – July 2008 -
Applications accepted and considered. Admissions decisions
will primarily be made on a rolling basis throughout the
admissions cycle. Early applications are highly
encouraged.

September/October 2007 - LSAT
administration. In addition to taking the LSAT, applicants
should also register for LSDAS (Law School Data Assembly
Service). More information on the LSAT and LSDAS are
available on the Law School Admission Council's web
site (www.LSAC.org). In addition to its other functions,
LSDAS provides a Letter of Recommendation service, which
applicants are encouraged to use for all letters except
those that address the applicant's fitness for
Elon's particular program. These Elon specific letters
can be mailed directly to the School of Law. Elon Law
School's LSAC school code is 5500. Early Decision
applicants must take the LSAT by this test date.

November 15, 2007 - Deadline for receipt
of Early Decision application form

December 2007 - LSAT administration (See
note on October LSAT)

December 1, 2007 - Early Decision deadline
for receipt of items to complete application
procedures

January 1, 2008 - Complete the FAFSA (Free
Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible
after January 1. It will be available online after January
1 at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Elon's federal school code is
002927.

February 2008 - LSAT administration (See
note on June LSAT)

March 1, 2008 - Applications are accepted
and considered as long as spaces remain available in the
fall class. However, Regular Decision - Rolling Admission
applications should be submitted as early as possible and
ideally by March 1, as it is anticipated that most
admission decisions will be made by April 1.
