Deferring to IRB Approval of an Alternate Institution

1. Alternate Institution must have a Federalwide Assurance Number (FWA)
2. An Authorization Agreement must be completed and signed by the authorized IRB official from the alternate institution
3. Return signed AA along with a copy of the IRB application and approval from alternate institution to: Bonnie Bruno, Director, Sponsored Programs, Elon University, 2610 Campus Box, Elon, NC 27244.
4. Once required documentation outlined above is received, Elon will add alternate institution to its FWA
