Academic Support

Academic support partners with students, faculty, and staff to help clarify academic policies and direct students to appropriate resources for successful and timely degree completion.

Belk Library Elon’s Belk Library is a rich resource for faculty and your students. If you have questions for a librarian before you arrive at Elon, please contact Patrick Rudd or your department’s liaison librarian.
Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) CATL supports faculty in being engaging, effective and scholarly teachers. CATL offers workshops, grants, individual consultations, and much more. Visit the Elon Teaching website for more information.
Core Curriculum The Elon Core Curriculum is the set of courses and experiences that are shared by every undergraduate.
Disabilities Resources Office Visit the Disabilities Resources Office website for information on faculty rights and responsibilities, providing accomodations, confidentiality, teaching and learning suggestions, and more.
Isabella Cannon Global Education Center The Isabella Cannon Global Education Center is Elon’s hub for international activity, including the development and coordination of student opportunities abroad, services for international students and scholars, facilitating faculty opportunities abroad, and programming directed towards the development of an internationalized campus. Media Services Media Services checks out equipment free of charge to faculty, staff, and students for projects, class assignments, and academic purposes. Learn more about the available equipment.
Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) Teaching and Learning Technologies consults with faculty about technology integration into academics, supports the use of Elon's learning management system, facilitates seminars and events to help others identify technology tools and ehance their technology skills, provides support for the successful use of technology, and much more.
