The five Elon Experiences -- research, leadership, service, internships and study abroad -- add an extra dimension to your education outside the traditional classroom and complement Elon's comprehensive academic program. Take a look at how these experiences bring learning to life:Elon's four-year leadership program gives you the necessary skills to be an effective leader on campus, in the community and in your professional life. Complete all four years of the program and be recognized as an Isabella Cannon Leader -- someone who has experience bringing people together to make things happen. There are plenty of ways to get involved with service at Elon. Volunteer with an ongoing program such as Special Olympics or sign up for a service trip during fall, winter or spring break. Some professors even integrate serving learning into their courses. Many students and professors team up as research partners at Elon. You can present your results at Elon's annual Student Undergraduate Research Forum and then take your findings to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. Elon sends more undergraduate students to study abroad than any other master's-level school in the nation. You can choose from more than four dozen study abroad courses and travel to Australia, Europe, Central America or West Africa. Study for a semester, during the summer or during Elon's innovative January Winter Term.Elon students work as interns at top companies and organizations all over the world.
