Elon University Alumni Association

Welcome from the Elon Black Alumni Network

EBAN is an officially chartered affinity chapter of the Office of Alumni Engagement. Our purpose is to build, maintain and sustain collaborative relationships with black alumni through social events, networking and philanthropic purposes impacting current and future Elon students. As Elon continues to receive recognition and honors as one of the best institutions in the nation, it propels the value of our degrees. To continue that growth and development, we as graduates must do our part to build a vibrant alumni network.

  • It takes commitment to be a lifelong partner of our alma mater and EBAN. To me, that means maintaining connections with the university, classmates and fellow alumni to share in the vision, mission and message of Elon and EBAN.
  • It takes dedication to be a lifelong advocate for Elon through personal connections to promote recruitment and retention of black students and through professional connections to expand networking opportunities.
  • It also takes responsibility to be a lifelong investor in the university that gave us so much through annual gifts that provide assistance to black students and support Elon's vision.

The easiest way to play your part is to get involved. I invite you to share your skills and expertise with the EBAN leadership team to make a positive difference for our alma mater, current students and each other. I have a quote on my desk that says, "the journey is the reward." The journey we already have taken is a mere step in the journey we can take together as we continue to build EBAN and a vibrant alumni network.

Please join us for the journey of a lifetime. Long Live Elon!
