Phoenix Phunday Monday!

Live the Maroon Life by wearing your Elon gear every Monday. Participate and you could win a prize! On randomly selected Mondays Student Alumni Council members will be in the Moseley Student Center handing out prizes to students on campus who are wearing Elon apparel. Student organization shirts, maroon and gold socks, an Elon hoodie or hat, facepaint - it doesn't matter what you wear, as long as it shows your Elon spirit!

Elon Calling Cards

Networking is a vital part of any career search, and being remembered is a vital part of networking. Stand out from the crowd and order customized Elon Calling Cards to hand out during interviews, internships and networking events.

Your order will include 100 color cards personalized with your class year, major, phone number and an Elon email address (did you know you get to keep your Elon email address after you graduate?!?).

Submit your order by clicking here and filling out the information requested.  The Elon Alumni Association will contact you by phone to verify your information and request a credit card number for payment. Each order of 100 cards costs $5.

Minimum wait time for cards is two weeks. Upon printing, cards will be delivered to Johnston Hall Alumni Center and you will be contacted by email to pick up your cards.

The Elon Bucket List (August)

Brought to you by the Student Alumni Council, the Elon Bucket List gives you a glimpse into the many things you'll be invited to take part in during your Elon experience. Each first-year student will receive an Elon Bucket List picture frame magnet during New Student Orientation. Learn more at www.elon.edu/bucketlist.

First Year First Tailgate (September)

Each year, the Student Alumni Council hosts a tailgate specifically for first-year students at the first home football game. Enjoy great food and get to know your classmates as you cheer on the Phoenix. One meal plan swipe is required for food.

Senior Class Celebration (September)

You never thought it would come, but it has - senior year is here! Join the Elon Alumni Association, Senior Class Officers and your classmates as we celebrate the beginning of your senior year. The evening begins with the Senior Class Meeting, followed by a picnic where senior class T-shirts will be distributed.

Homecoming (October)

The Elon Alumni Association welcomes back thousands of graduates each fall to celebrate Homecoming weekend. This is a great chance for current Elon students to get to know and network with alumni who can provide career assistance. Student Alumni Council's annual banner contest is also a great way to participate in Homecoming by showing your school spirit and possibly winning a cash prize!

Seniors are invited to attend the Young Alumni Party to get to know recent Elon graduates.

Uncorked: Wine Etiquette (November)

A special event just for seniors! Ever wondered how to pair wine with food? Interested in finding out why certain wines have certain names? Nervous about attending a business dinner and not knowing which wine to select? Join fellow seniors for an evening of learning how to select, serve and pair wine for professional dinners and events.

Welcome to the Alumni Association (February)

Did you know that, after completing just 12 credit hours, you're considered a member of the Elon Alumni Association? Join us for a welcome reception where you'll enjoy great conversation, refreshments and learn about what the Alumni Association can offer you.

Destination Next? (February, March)

Are you thinking about moving to a new city for a post-graduation job or a summer internship? Each spring, the Elon Alumni Association collaborates with young alumni living and working in several major cities to provide insights about their "hometowns." Receive tips about where to look for work, what area of town to live in, entertainment and night life, and cost of living. This also is a great opportunity to develop relationships with alumni and fellow students to grow your professional network.

Elon...Pass It On! (March)

Your tuition and fees only cover about 81 percent of your Elon education. Elon...Pass It On! marks the day of the academic year when a student's education is no longer paid by tuition and fees but rather gifts from alumni, parents, friends, grandparents, corporations and foundations.

Baseball Block Party (April)

Compete in the block party cornhole tournament, enjoy hot dogs and other ballpark refreshments and cheer on the Phoenix baseball team! Hosted by the Student Alumni Council, this event takes place each spring and offers a great chance to get out and enjoy beautiful spring weather while spending time with friends and showing your Elon pride.

The Elon Network (April)

We all know how to send an email, Tweet a message, post to a Facebook wall, text a friend or connect on LinkedIn, but have we forgotten how to talk to one another face-to-face? This student-organized event  gives you the opportunity to hone your in-person networking skills while developing valuable connections. Speak with fellow students who have completed an internship, landed a job or been accepted to a graduate program in an area you're interested in and learn about how they did it.

Internship Send-Off Reception (May)

If your'e doing a summer internship, you won't want to miss this event. Enjoy refreshments and pick up your "Internship Survival Kit" courtesy of the Student Alumni Council. You'll also have a chance to meet and mingle with fellow students who will be starting internships in the same company or city as you are. Young alumni in attendance will share words of wisdom to help you make the most of your internship experience.

Senior Week (May)

Seniors, you've put in years of hard work, and now it's time to celebrate. These events just for you are hosted by the Elon Alumni Association:

Senior Class Picnic with Faculty and Staff

Enjoy free food and say goodbye to your classmates and your favorite faculty and staff.

Senior Class Gala

Get dressed up and dance the night away at this special event.
