Each spring, the Young Alumni Council, in coordination with the Elon Alumni Association, recognizes 10 young alumni for outstanding service to their community, significant professional success or loyal support of Elon. Recipients are invited to Elon for an awards banquet in their honor.

What better way to reconnect with fellow young alumni than to come back to Elon for Homecoming? Each fall, the Young Alumni Council organizes an exclusive Young Alumni Party that allows young alumni to mingle and catch up during Homecoming. The Alumni Association works with two committees of alumni annually to help them celebrate their five and ten year reunions at Homecoming. If you are a member of the Classes of 2007 or 2002 and would like to get involved with your class reunion plans for Homecoming 2012, please contact Kiley Moorefield '07.
Hosted each spring, Elon's "Destination ..." events provide current students a peek into life after college in several major cities from the perspective of Elon's young alumni. Graduates contribute to a panel discussion about the city they live in and answer questions from current students. Alumni may participate in person on campus or via video conference from cities near and far. In the Elon tradition of service learning, all alumni are invited each April to participate in the Elon Alumni Association's Month of Service, "Rise Up and Serve." During this time, regional chapters and clubs will host service events. If you're not in a location served by a regional chapter or club, you're still encouraged to participate in a service opportunity of your choice. Throughout the year, young alumni have the opportunity to participate in various networking and professional development programs. These include Elon speakers on the road, webinars, regional networking events, invitations to campus events and a variety of other programs.
