Coming to Elon as a Freshman - Important Information

Below is some useful information for incoming freshmen as you make plans for moving to Elon University.

  • You can mail your belongings to your assigned campus box after August 7 (Please see address format on the Mail Services home page)
  • Please try to keep each item under 50lbs
  • You can mail as many items as you like, but please keep in mind that the mail center has limited storage area during this time period and you will be responsible for picking up your items at the mail center in Moseley during our busy time. If there are items you feel you will need as soon as you arrive please consider bringing them with you instead of mailing them.
  • The mail center does not have carts or hand trucks available for picking up heavy packages. Please be prepared to pick up large boxes at our loading dock on the north side of Moseley.

Items you should "NEVER" mail

If you have any questions about items you can mail or ship, please contact the mail center at the number listed.
