Company Shops Market is a community owned full-service grocery store and cafe coming to Burlington, NC that will provide food products utilizing, as much as possible, local, small, sustainable farms.  

The Haw River Assembly was founded to restore and protect the Haw River and Jordan Lake by promoting environmental education, conservation and pollution prevention, speaking as a voice for the River in the public arena, and by putting into peoples' hands the tools and knowledge they need to be effective guardians of the river.

The New Leaf Society works through partnerships to enhance Burlington, North Carolina’s quality of life and economic prosperity by planting trees and installing landscape projects.

The North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation assists in the acquisition, management, and protection of wildlife habitat in the state of North Carolina and promotes conservation education.

The North Carolina Zoo is dedicated to minimizing waste and conserving natural resources within the Park and is involved with regional and state programs to improve the quality of our environment. 

The One North Carolina Naturally initiative promotes and coordinates the long-term conservation of North Carolina’s threatened land and water resources. 

Piedmont Environmental Alliance, Inc. (PEA) was formed to facilitate environmental sustainability in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina through education, networking and outreach

The Piedmont Land Conservancy preserves natural and scenic lands, farms and open spaces in Piedmont North Carolina.

The Piedmont Triad Council of Governments (PTCOG) is a voluntary association of municipal and county governments, enabled by state law to promote regional issues and cooperation among members.

The Piedmont Triad NC USGBC Chapter is for individuals, companies, and organizations interested in learning about and advancing sustainable design and construction in the local area. 

Project Green Leaf promotes and supports a local agro-food system with direct marketing and educational and outreach programs.

Slow Food Piedmont Triad celebrates and supports the local food community by providing food education, promoting the sustainable use of land, identifying endangered food species, and supporting artisan producers, slow restaurants, and small farmers.
