The Office of Sustainability, in partnership with the Leadership and Professional Development Office, offers a program entitled Creating a More Sustainable Workplace. Four sessions were offered during the 11-12 academic year, and additional sessions will be offered in the 12-13 academic year. In the sessions, participants are provided with an overview of the University’s sustainability efforts and strategies to help them be a Sustainability Leader in their office. After each session, participants are provided with a Sustainable Workplace Assessment Tool to help them assess the environmental sustainability of their offices. All session participants are invited to attend a Sustainability Leaders gathering once a semester to share experiences and resources.
