Instructional & Campus Technologies has been examining cloud solutions to offer better services and maximize resources. As such, we have spent the past year researching the best way to improve our email service for faculty and staff. Based on our research, we plan to move our current Microsoft Exchange service (faculty and staff email) to a cloud-based service called Microsoft 365.
I&CT is moving accounts by office, school, and department. You will receive an email in advance with your scheduled move date/time. If you have questions or concerns about your scheduled date/time, please contact the Technology Help Desk at 336-278-5200. See our progress.

Using your Elon computer
We recommend using the Outlook (Windows and Mac) client to manage your email when using your computer. I&CT staff will help you reconfigure your Elon computer to work with Microsoft 365.
Using another computer
When checking email on another computer or from home, we recommend using Outlook Web Access (OWA). You can log in to from any computer with an internet connection at http://email.elon.edu. Enter your Elon username/password in the box for Fac/Staff using Microsoft 365.
Using mobile devices
University owned smart phones will be automatically reconfigured to work Microsoft 365. Confguration instructions will be provided for personally owned smartphones phones and tablets.
