Mileah Kromer, assistant professor of political science and interim coordinator of the Elon University Poll, joined the Elon faculty in 2008. Kromer oversees instrument design, survey development, interviewer training and data analysis. Her research interests include state legislative behavior, women in in American politics and state public opinion. Kromer received her doctorate in political science from Louisiana State University. She previously taught at LSU and was the operations manager of LSU's Manship School of Communications Public Policy Research Lab.

George Taylor, professor of political science, is director of the Institute for Politics and Public Affairs. Taylor coordinates activities among the Center for Public Opinion Polling and the Center for Public Affairs. Taylor consults on survey design and methodological issues for the Elon University Poll. His research interests include research methodology, political behavior, and urban politics. He also directs Elon University’s National Campaign for Student Political Engagement. Taylor received his doctorate from the University of Georgia.
