IMPACT Circle
The IMPACT Circle is the premier giving group of the Phoenix Club. IMPACT (I Make Phoenix Athletics Competitive Today) Circle members make annual gifts at the quarter, half or full scholarship level, set each year by Elon trustees. Donors may make a four-year scholarship pledge at a fixed amount or make gifts at the level set annually by the trustees.
Elon’s most generous donors whose lifetime giving to athletics through annual, endowment and/or capital support exceeds $1 million are awarded Legacy Phoenix status and are lifetime members of the IMPACT Circle.

What is the IMPACT Circle?
The IMPACT Circle is the premier annual giving group of the
Phoenix Club and Elon athletics. The IMPACT Circle includes
Phoenix Club donors who make annual gifts at the quarter,
half and full scholarship levels or endow a scholarship
generating equivalent annual earnings. IMPACT Circle levels
are determined annually by the Board of Trustees at the value
of a full grant-in-aid (tuition, room, board, fees and
books).
What does my gift fund?
100% of your donation funds annual scholarships for more
than 350 men and women student athletes.
What are the IMPACT Circle giving levels for
2006-07?
Quarter Scholarship $7,105
Half Scholarship $14,210
Full Scholarship $28,425
Legacy Phoenix: For donors whose lifetime giving exceeds $1
million for athletics through annual, endowment or capital
gifts.
How do I become an IMPACT Circle
member?
IMPACT Circle benefactors may secure a four-year pledge at a
fixed amount for the duration of the pledge based on the
first-year costs set by the Board of Trustees –
OR– make annual gifts at the level set each year by the
trustees.
How soon does my IMPACT Circle membership
begin?
You will become a member when the Phoenix Club receives your
written pledge or gift.
Can I designate my gift to a specific
sport?
By donating to the Phoenix Club you are, in fact,
designating your gift, because all contributions support
scholarship funding for all sports. In addition, donors can
establish an endowed scholarship for a specific sport, which
will last in perpetuity.
Will I be able to meet the student athlete my
donation will support?
Absolutely! This is the best part of being a member of the
IMPACT Circle. The Phoenix Club will assemble the top student
athletes based on athletic and academic performance,
character and those who are proud to wear maroon and gold and
introduce them to IMPACT Circle members. Wonderful personal
lifetime relationships can be established between the donor
and student athlete. IMPACT Circle events will be scheduled
in the fall and spring to enable members to meet the Elon
student athletes they generously support.
