Fellowships

Fellowships are short-term post-graduate assignments, typically one to two year positions, in a variety of placements. Fellowships are funded by grants or scholarships and involve either working with an organization, such as a public interest organization, working with a governmental agency, working on a special project, or all of the above. Fellowships are prestigious placements and are invaluable in gaining experience and future contacts. Students should apply for fellowships during their third year of law school.
