What is Public Interest Law?
Public Interest Law entities (non-profits) practice with the goal of protecting individual rights, advancing justice, and representing individuals who are typically under-represented in our society. Public Interest organizations include Public Defender Offices, State Attorney General Offices, Legal Aid Offices, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund.
