Feel the excitement as élan takes the stage with rhythm
section and horns presenting songs from Chicago, Earth, Wind
& Fire, Steely Dan, Tower of Power and many others. A mix
of standard, hot swing tunes and a cappella ballads will
round out the evening.

Brought to North Carolina by early Moravian settlers, this
traditional Christmas fellowship includes candles, carols,
and a simple meal of coffee and a Moravian bun.

The Camerata present a second performance of A
Celebration of Light, a high point of the holiday
season. A cappella selections from centuries of the choral
art are presented with narration taken from carols from
around the world. This unique, reflective celebration will
warm the heart and refresh the spirit.

The act of war and its physical and emotional consequences
are examined by a diverse, multigenerational group of
artists. The artists, whose numbers include both veterans and
nonveterans,
approach the subject with an extensive array of media and
aesthetic sensibilities. Exhibition continues through January
24.
