In our highly competitive and increasingly fractious world, critical problem-solving skills are urgently neeeded to break down barriers, build understanding and create the best conditions for progress and peace. A former White House press secretary, political commentator and author, Myers is known for her sharp political instincts, sense of humor and straightforward analysis. During a two-part visit in January, Myers will meet with students in the Isabella Cannon Leadership Program and present two separate evening lectures.

Winner of a Pulitzer Prize and the Drama Critics' Circle Award, The Time of Your Life introduces strange and kindly Joe, whose search for happiness and answers to far-reaching enigmas of life takes him to Nick's waterfront saloon where his friend and errand boy, huge and simple, falls in love with a fragile lady of the evening. Wandering in and out of the saloon are vivid characters who want to get more living done and are as unsure as Joe about how to go about it.
