The Office of Cultural & Special Programs

Elon University offers a rich and varied program of artistic cultural events that complement and support the thriving programs in art, dance, literature, music and theatre. Special lectures and presentations on timely topics support a broad range of curricular and co-curricular learning and enhance the overall academic climate and level of campus discourse. The Elon University Lyceum Series, the Baird Pulitzer Prize Lecture, the Elon Common Reading Lecture, and the Isabella Cannon Distinguished Visiting Professor of Leadership are established and anticipated annual programs. Significant occasions such as convocations and commencements are important traditions for the campus community. All of these events as well as other occasions are planned and executed through the Office of Cultural and Special Programs.
