Elon University students have always immersed themselves in the American democratic process, from polling state residents to covering elections for student media to interning at national convetions through The Washington Center. In 2012, with national attention that remains focused on North Carolina as a swing state in the presidential election, the university will again play a role in fostering conversations and educating others on matters of critical importance to the region and beyond.
