The Elon University Institute for Politics and Public Affairs, in partnership with the Charlotte Observer and the News & Observer, is polling North Carolina registered voters on a variety of issues, as well as the presidential race and North Carolina’s gubernatorial race, as the Democratic National Convention comes to Charlotte.
Results of the poll will be released at a 10:30 a.m. news conference on Monday, September 3, in the third floor auditorium of the Charlotte Observer at 600 S. Tryon Street. All journalists covering the DNC are invited to attend.
Following a summary of findings by Elon’s poll directors, John Robinson, former editor of the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C., will moderate a panel analysis featuring political experts who include:
David Gergen, former presidential adviser, CNN political analyst, director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School
