Jennifer Gibert – Student Life and Professional Development Advisor
Jennifer joins Elon Law after serving as a graduate assistant in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at Southern Methodist University, where she received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study and a Master of Liberal Studies, both concentrating in Human Rights and Social Justice. Prior to transitioning to higher education, Jennifer was a partner at Fraley & Fraley, LLP and an associate at Chamblee & Ryan, P.C., law firms in Dallas, Texas. Jennifer received a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. in English Language & Literature from the University of Virginia.
Joanie Michael – Admissions Administrative Assistant
Joanie joins Elon Law following professional positions with Noble Academy, Howard Eye Associates, Child Care Nursing Program and New Hanover County Child Support. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Human Resources/Leadership from Mount Olive College.
Margaret Winslow – Director of Strategic Initiatives
Margaret joins Elon Law following service as Director of Grants and Economic Development in the office of U.S. Senator Kay Hagan. Previously, Margaret was project manager of Triad InternNet at the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market and the Greensboro Housing Coalition. Margaret holds a B.A. in Comparative Languages and Linguistics from Earlham College.
Janet Wright – Administrative Assistant
Janet joins Elon Law following service as ombudsperson at Guilford College. Previously, she was faculty secretary and education studies department secretary at Guilford College, and secretary with the Guilford County Board of Education. She has served on the City of Greensboro Zoning Commission, Human Relations Commission and Board of Adjustments. Her educational background includes study at St. Edward’s University and Arkansas State University.
