Professional Development

Designed for all employees, these programs are offered in response to staff and department needs. Employees are encouraged and sometimes required to attend workshops to meet certification requirements. Several of these programs will provide support for the development of supervisory and leadership skills and be offered on a one-time or ongoing basis.

Individual Development Facilitation

Our office is providing individual development facilitation sessions on a monthly basis. A knowledgeable, expert facilitator will be on campus, by appointment, to offer confidential individual sessions on professional and developmental goal planning. Once you register, you will receive two goal development guidebooks to assist you in preparing for your individual session.  These sessions fill up quickly so please contact Ann Flaherty at x6123 (aflaherty2@elon.edu) as soon as possible for more information or to schedule a session.

Customized Department Trainings

We offer other programs that can be customized to meet specific departmental needs.  Examples of recent programs include:
    - Sending Routine Messages via Email
    - Team Building with Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI)
    - Stress Reduction in the Workplace
    - Celebrating Change
    - StrengthsQuest
