2012 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
North Carolina

Twenty-nine North Carolina institutions were named to the 2012 honor roll, four with distinction. Twenty-one are NC Campus Compact members. North Carolina State University was one of only 5 institutions nationwide to receive the Presidential Award, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to community service. North Carolina Central University was among only 14 institutions identified as finalists.
