Call for Proposals

2016 CSNAP Student Conference

Proposal Deadline:  September 30

NC Campus Compact seeks workshop proposals for the 2016 CSNAP Student Conference. This conference convenes college and university students from across the Carolinas to:

1)  Develop the skills of student leaders as they manage community engagement initiatives through campus-community partnerships;
2)  Educate students on the social issues facing the region and nation;
3)  Explore ways to grow and enhance student civic engagement;
4)  Expose students to options for how to integrate community engagement into their life goals.

The conference will include blocks of workshop break-outs.  We are seeking proposals with the following outcomes:

1)  Develop leadership skills of students to manage campus-community civic engagement programs on their campuses. 

2) Provide models of civic/community engagement projects or programs.  We are especially interested in models that are innovative, sustainable, and replicable. 

3) Introduce original student research that builds understanding of excellent campus-community engagement.

Each workshop is one hour. The Proposal Form is available for download here in a Microsoft Word format for review purposes only.  The proposal must be submitted through the online form found on this page.
