This is the first day for collection of school supplies for K-12 students in Alamance County designated as "homeless." Please support the education of young people in our county. This effort, which will continue through Monday, August 28, is co-sponsored by SGA and the Office of the Dean of Students. More information about drop off procedures will be e-mailed to faculty and staff.

Preparing for Sessions on "The Responsibilities of Engaged Learning/First Class" (3:30 p.m.-4:45 p.m.)

On Monday, August 28, from 9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m., first year and transfer students will meet in small groups with a faculty member to talk about their academic responsibilities for learning at Elon. Today’s session will allow faculty to discuss the event and to share ideas.

Intended Audience: Faculty who will be leading Engaged Learning Sessions, especially those leading for the first time

President and Mrs. Lambert will welcome new faculty and staff at a reception in the Snow Family Grand Atrium.

Intended Audience: Open to all new faculty and staff (nametags with green or blue dots) at Elon University. This invitation is also extended to spouses or guests. An e-mail invitation to this event (asking for an RSVP) will be sent from the Office of the President to those new faculty and staff who are invited.
