Melbourne join MAROON 5 at Elon
The Student Union Board has announced that the opening acts
for the MAROON 5 concert on Saturday in Alumni Gym will be
Sara B. and Melbourne, formerly known as Revelation Darling.
More than 2,500 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s
MAROON 5 concert in Alumni Gym according to SUB
representative Sarah Slater.
“Fans from all over have been ordering tickets,”
Slater said. “We’ve gotten orders from Raleigh,
Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Georgia, South Carolina and even
two orders frm Ireland through the fan club Web site.”
Slater also announced that there will be a limited number of
tickets available the day of the show, starting at 4:30 p.m.
in the concourse section of Koury Gym. Tickets can be
purchased at the will call table.
There will also be an opportunity for up to 30 fans to win a
backstage pass through Verizon Wireless. Fans can enter the
contest at designated areas in the concourse section before
the show.
All guest are required to bring a Phoenix card or photo ID,
and there will be no re-entry into the venue. No guest will
be admitted if they are intoxicated. Food, drinks and
backbacks will not be allowed past security checkpoints.
