Elon senior charged with peeping

Elon University has charged student Jeffrey Heyer with using hidden cameras to videotape unsuspecting female students. Heyer faces criminal charges today, though the University judiciary system has been investigating Heyer's actions since Tuesday.

Criminal complaints were filed three days after another Elon student found a secret camera hidden in a clock radio she received from Heyer. Suspicious of Heyer's intentions, the student brought the camera to Campus Safety and Police.
