Fish die as oxygen levels plummet in lake

A high level of phosphorus in Elon Homes Lake caused an algae bloom. When a lightning storm killed the algae in the lake, oxygen level plummeted. The sudden loss of oxygen shocked and killed many of the fish living in the lake.... more
